Learn about Your Estate Plan - From Experts - Free

Developed over many years and with many audiences, "Estate Planning 101™" comes to San Diego with host, Marguerite Lorenz, California Licensed Professional Fiduciary.
Our mission is to promote self-awareness of our own financial and estate plans; learn practical suggestions on how to find competent and ethical advisors and encourage tax-wise charitable giving.
The "Estate Planning 101™ Workshop Series" is presented in four weekly sessions, with two 1-1/2 hour classes, including written materials, question and answer wrap-up and surveys. Please plan to attend all of the sessions, as each presenter has been specifically selected to bring as much useful information to you as possible. Click here for information on the topics covered. To contact us with any questions, call 619-752-6991 or email us at info@estateplanning101.org. We will reply to inquiries within two business days.
Our sponsors are charities, so none of your personal information will be gathered by the presenters for sales use. Of course, you are welcome to contact the presenters with your specific questions and you may choose to hire them, but that is at your choice. Our goal is to provide you with the education you need to make good decisions regarding your estate plan. Our sponsoring charities fulfill their sponsorship role by providing the location and promotion for the program. They are:
In this way, you have the opportunity to get your estate planning questions answered at no cost to you, by professionals who perform the planning and implementation of trusts and estates every day.
This program was started by Peter Kote, in Orange County, in 1993. We created rules and they are simple:
- No commercial or for profit sponsors. (Charitable sponsors want you to be as wealthy as possible. Give to the charity versus paying it in the form of taxes and consider an income gift such as a charitable gift annuity.)
- We promise no professional advisor will receive any attendee contact information.
- We promise that none of our non-profit sponsors will use the seminars to solicit a donation and no financial products will be sold. The charities may contact you to invite you to learn more about them.
